Citizens Advice Kensington Chelsea

We provide free, confidential and impartial advice and campaign on big issues affecting people’s lives.

Volunteer with us

Around 22,000 people volunteer for Citizens Advice nationally. Becoming a volunteer can be personally rewarding and can help you make a difference to your community. We invite applications from interested applicants all year round, but sometimes we focus our recruitment on specific roles. These applicants will be prioritised.

If you’re a qualified Citizens Advice adviser you can email us directly to discuss joining our team.

Time and commitment

For our Adviceline Volunteer role we require up to 2 days per week for 12 months. Our other roles require a commitment of at least 1-2 days per week for 6 months (see job descriptions for specific criteria).

We know that volunteering with us is a significant commitment. We’re happy to discuss being flexible if you have less time but think you can still support our services or make a difference to our clients.

Select the role(s) you are interested in, fill in your details and submit the form to express an interest in volunteering with us.

Volunteer Drop-in Sessions

We host drop-in sessions for interested applicants who want to find out more about volunteering. These are friendly, informal meetings just to find out about our opportunities, the benefits of volunteering and how to complete our application form. These sessions take place every two weeks at our Chelsea office (Chelsea Old Town Hall, King’s Road, SW3 5EB) between 16:00pm – 17:00pm.

The next drop-in is: 18th August 2022
